C4 Hemp flower has a broad range of terpenes, the dominant ones being Myrcene, Caryophyllene, and Geranyl Acetate. Myrcene, a terpene also found in Mango, Lemongrass, Thyme, and other citrus fruits has antiseptic, antibacterial, antifungal and anti-inflammatory properties. Caryophyllene has antioxidant properties and also good for relief of inflammation, Muscle spasms, pain, and insomnia. Geranyl Acetate is what gives hemp its floral fruity scent. Combined with the other terpenes it has antimicrobial properties. The C4 strain cannabinoids have been studied for treating inflammation, nausea, migraines, chronic pain, anxiety, depression, chemotherapy side effects, and more.
As with all of our strains, C4 THC levels should be assayed 3 to 5 weeks prior to anticipated harvest to ensure the crops meets the statute for maximum THC levels. Drought and very hot weather may increase the total THC levels in industrial hemp plants.
